I am going to be traveling to goa for 1 month and I wanted to know if anyone has any recomendations as far as places to stay in arambol. I am looking for a place that I can ground out and paint and do yoga while also being somewhat in the loop of funky/wild travelers. I'm on a bit of a tight budget though I've heard its all cheap. What would the veterans suggest?

Sun, July 9, 2006 - 9:07 PMi would say just look around, there are many lovely bamboo huts and in my opinion they are a hundred times better than some smelly cement room. also a really nice place to see is the banyon tree, which is a 20 minute walk and the trees are all connected there and it makes like a cathedral effect, many people stay at the tree also, and its a free community. On the way there is a spot to rub special mud all over your body and it makes your skin so smooth.
